*PSA* The Cashmere Community Farmers Market page is merging with the Leavenworth Market page under our organization name: Cascade Community Markets!

While we would prefer to continue to curate individual content for each market, Meta makes it far too time consuming to manage multiple accounts. We are a very small organization with only one full time staff member and we simply can't justify the cost of creating duplicate posts. We would rather dedicate your donations to market music, subsidizing vendor fees, and food access programs to serve our community better.

We're excited to announce that our new Commissary Kitchen on County Shop Rd will open Summer 2026!

~ March 30th, 6-8pm: Kitchen Preview Night for Prospective Members. Sign up on our website as a prospective member for details.

~ We're looking for equipment donations! Our wish list is on the website.

~ The kitchen received a WSDA Grant to add a hood and range, completing the essential fixtures. Construction starts soon.

The state budget for SNAP Market Match is being severely cut in 2026. This program makes shopping at the farmers market affordable for all community members and this cut dramatically reduces access to fresh local food for our neighbors with low incomes.

If we can raise $20,000 by December 31st, we can offer Unlimited Matched Benefits to market shoppers using SNAP EBT next year, ensuring equitable access to the healthiest, freshest foods for all shoppers.

Big thanks to Icicle Brewing Company who have pledged $5,000 towards this goal through sponsorship!

BIG NEWS: Next year, the Cashmere Community Farmers Market will be held on Wednesday evenings! The public survey we conducted this summer received over 200 responses including over 150 people who mentioned the Sunday schedule was a challenge. The overwhelming feedback was in support of a weekday evening Market, and many vendors - old and new - are also excited about a mid-week option!

We'll remain at the Cashmere Museum Pavilion in 2026, as that seems to be the only viable location in town for us that has some afternoon shade - plus we really love partnering with the Museum!
