Thank you for your interest in my childcare program. It is my goal to provide the children with a safe environment that nurtures self esteem and security. My program focuses on social and emotional development. I provide an educational program that promotes learning through hands on play and discovery. I encourage parents to discuss ex

pectations they have for there child. I am always open to any feedback. It is important that parents and providers establish a good working relationship. My childcare is unique in that it is a small intimate group but the space is more like a childcare center. We also have a separate pre-school classroom for Children from the ages 2 1/2 - 5 . This gives children and parents the best of both worlds. Hours:

Brooks Family Childcare LLC will provide care from 6:00am to 5:00 pm. Schedule:
Brooks Family Childcare LLC is a semi structured program with individual activities, group activities, supervised free time, and supervised outdoor play. Much of my activities are child directed and teacher guided. In addition to daily activities I provided a more formal pre-school program for children between the ages of 36 months and pre-kindergarten that focuses on early learning skills. The routines are very predictable within the program. The activities within the routines are varied. Circle time: We have a time set aside each morning for circle. This is a group activity for singing, sharing, dancing, or reading a story. The children will be encouraged to participate in group conversations, social conversations, story telling and role-playing. Expressing themselves fluently and being an attentive listener will be encouraged. Art Activities: Art activities and sensory experiences are offered throughout the day. Theses activities are open ended and geared for a wide range of ages. Projects emphasize creativity, technique, and most importantly “ trying” rather then a final outcome. Small Muscle (fine motor): Coloring, puzzles, play dough, and block building. Large Muscle (gross motor): Crawling, marching, running, jumping, dancing, stretching, and exercising

Creative Play: Creative play simulates the child’s imagination and language skills. Play areas: kitchen, store, doctors, and dress up. Science: Activities that encourage investigating, observing, discovering, and problem solving. Example: cooking, growing and plant etc. Math: Counting is apart of our everyday. Other activities involving concepts such as volume, size, shape and measurements. Thank you for your interest in my program.
