💙 VIP Breakfast Reminder for Our RSVPed Guests 💙

Good morning CES families! We are so excited to welcome those of you who RSVPed for our VIP Breakfast tomorrow. Thank you for helping us plan a special and meaningful morning for our Very Important Students and their guests.

To help everything run smoothly, please review these important reminders:

🚍 Parking & Transportation: Please park at the Legion and ride the provided buses to CES. Parking around the school is very limited.
🚧 The area near the concession stands will be coned off and used as the bus pick-up and drop-off zone — please do not park there.
⏰ Arrival Time: Plan to arrive at the Legion about 30 minutes before your scheduled breakfast time for check-in and transportation.
🎒 Students: Please send students to school as usual. Do not bring them with you, as we need to collect attendance and lunch counts and have them ready to join you at the appropriate time.

Mrs. Hummel is currently teaching a bowling unit. Yesterday they did cosmic bowling in PE and in a couple of weeks, all of our students will have a field trip to Legacy Lanes in Monticello to actually bowl! Thanks to our amazing PTO for funding this trip! 🎳

✨ PTO Officer Spotlight –

Jody Noonan, PTO Treasurer ✨

Hi everyone! I’m Jody Noonan, and I currently serve as the PTO Treasurer. I’ve been attending PTO meetings for about five years and have proudly served as an officer for the past four years.

As Treasurer, I help keep our organization running smoothly behind the scenes by monitoring all incoming and outgoing funds and making sure our taxes are filed each year. It’s important to me that our PTO remains organized and financially responsible so we can continue supporting our students, staff, and school community.

My favorite part about being involved in the PTO is helping create fun experiences for the kids and seeing the smiles those moments bring to their faces. I originally joined the PTO because I wanted to lend a helping hand and have a voice in supporting our school.

This year is especially meaningful for my family — We have all three kids attending Cascade Elementary, and it’s the one and only year they’ll all be in the same building together!

My husband, Charlie, and I live on the farm with our three kids, two dogs, and our horses. When I’m not busy with PTO activities, I love spending time with my family, enjoying summer days in the water swimming, fishing, and kayaking, riding horses, planting flowers, and tending to my garden.

I’m grateful to be part of such a supportive school community and thankful for the opportunity to serve our students and families!
