Today, we celebrate achievement, growth, and the bright future that lies ahead for each of you.
This has been a year of adjustment —a time that reminded us how deeply our students value this community and the learning journey we share. Our teachers have already taken the first steps into that future, moving back to the farm location and establishing classrooms that will soon become places of discovery and joy. The excitement for what’s to come shows just how much our students long to learn, explore, and grow in that special environment.
This year, many of our students came to us behind grade level and we entered our year with grace and determination. Through our students’ steadfast commitment, an intentional curriculum, and the heart of our teachers, our most recent THRIVE testing has shown remarkable progress—our students are now performing on average two grade levels ahead. This is more than academic success—it’s evidence of what faith, perseverance, and vision can build together. As a faith and nature-based school, our faith will continue to open new pathways before us. Though challenges will always come, we know that with grit, community, and faith in God, we can meet every one of them with courage and hope.
To our families, teachers, and the entire village, especially parents, who nurture our students—thank you. Your prayers, your time, your trust, and your belief in our mission have made all this possible. As we get back to our roots, the farm campus and programs we offer are expanding. We will continue to cultivate not just knowledge but character, resilience, and purpose.
To our graduates: as you move into first grade, junior high, or life beyond high school, carry with you the lessons of faith, perseverance, and gratitude. The roots we’ve planted together will continue to ground you, no matter where you go. Congratulations, graduates. May God bless your journey and the bright new chapters ahead.
We want to take a moment to recognize the heart of our school—our remarkable teachers and our Advisory Board members.
Mrs. Amanda Cody leads our early years program with warmth, creativity, and a deep understanding of how young minds begin to bloom. She has excelled as a classroom teacher, and God truly gave her a talent for teaching small but mighty humans.
Mrs. Shelby Funk guides our middle years students with energy, care, and sometimes, brutal honesty. She is helping them grow through one of life’s most transformative stages that genuinely requires a special person.
Mrs. Rachel Thompson joined us during the last quarter of the year. She has stepped up to the mentorship role that our older students need. She is preparing them not only for what’s next academically, but for the responsibilities and joys of adulthood.
Mrs. Stormee Runnels will be bringing science, art, and music alive for all our students from PreK through 12th grade this upcoming school year, reminding us that wonder and creativity belong in every subject.
Mrs. Susie McGehee continues to lead the way in nature, home economics, and agriculture studies, ensuring our connection to the land remains strong and meaningful. We are grateful for the transition of moving back to the farm, specifically for her, because she and the kids will have a much richer canvas to work with.
Mr. Glen Masker provides essential math support for our 5th through 12th graders, helping each student find confidence and clarity in a subject that can so often feel daunting. He has been a welcomed blessing this year.
Ms. Sophia, our versatile and gracious classroom leader, steps in wherever she’s needed, always with enthusiasm and genuine care for our kids.
We would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible service of our Advisory Board—Michelle May, Becca Tipton, and Charlie Harvey. Not only are they devoted parents, but they also serve as thoughtful voices for our school, our students, and our teachers. Their calm insight, creative ideas, and unwavering commitment to seeing our children grow—both in their faith in Christ and academically—are invaluable to our mission. We’re also blessed to welcome our newest member, Cristy Jones, to our board! Together, this group provides wisdom, encouragement, and a steady hand that helps guide our school community forward. Each of these educators and board members plays an extraordinary role in shaping not only academic achievement but also the faith in Christ, resilience, and spirit that define our school community.

Good morning!
As I stand here today, I can hardly believe how much we’ve all grown—both in height and in heart. When I first came to Hamilton House, I didn’t really know what to expect. I quickly learned that this isn’t an ordinary school. It’s a place where learning happens not just inside classrooms but under trees, beside creeks, and around cozy campfires. It’s a place where curiosity is encouraged, where questions are welcomed, and where every day feels like an adventure God designed just for us.
At Hamilton House, we’ve learned that it’s okay to ask why and how, and even what if. Our teachers don’t just give us answers—they help us discover them. Whether we’re exploring a new science topic, writing poems about nature, or discussing the lessons Jesus taught, we’re learning to think deeply and to see the world through eyes of wonder and faith.
This school has truly been a safe and nurturing home for us. Hamilton House isn’t just a place to study—it’s a family. When we make mistakes, we’re guided with patience. When we succeed, we celebrate together. And every single day, we’re reminded that God provides what we need, and that Jesus walks beside us—guiding our hearts and thoughts.
I’ve learned that being a student here isn’t just about grades or projects. It’s about growing in character, faith, and courage. It’s about becoming people who care for others and for the world God created.
As we look toward the future—whether it’s moving up to new grades, new schools, or new adventures—we carry with us everything Hamilton House has taught us: to stay curious, to stay kind, and to stay grounded in faith.
On behalf of my classmates, I want to thank our teachers for their constant encouragement, our parents for their endless support, and our school leaders for building a place where we can grow strong and confident.
As we leave this year behind and begin the next, I pray that we’ll continue to let God’s light guide our steps and our choices. May we always stay rooted in His truth, and may our lives reflect the love that we’ve been shown here at Hamilton House.

Welcome, and thank you for being here to celebrate this special day at Hamilton House. As an advisory board member, it has been such a joy to watch our school grow during only its second year.
At Hamilton House, learning looks a little different. Here, students of all ages learn alongside one another through faith, nature, curiosity, and community. This year: shoes (and socks) were optional, messes were a plenty, and emotions of every variety were experienced— but through it all, memories have been made and learning has flourished.
Today we celebrate our kindergarten, 6th grade, and senior graduates and the exciting new chapters ahead of them.
Graduates, Continue to walk in faith, lead with kindness, and trust God as He guides your next steps.
