🌱 CG Union FFA at the Governing Board Meeting! 💙💛

We were proud to have members of the Casa Grande Union FFA present at tonight’s Governing Board meeting and share what’s ahead for their chapter!

From chapter meetings and the National FFA Convention to community service projects like the Turkey Basket Food Drive and the annual FFA Steak Fry, our students have an exciting season ahead. 🐄🌾

We’re proud of our FFA students for representing CG Union and putting leadership, service and agricultural education into action! 💙💛

🎉 Congratulations to our September 2026 Career and Technical Education Student of the Month, Elijah Carver! 🎉

Elijah, a Casa Grande Union High School student and Commanding Officer of the MCJROTC program, was recognized during the September 14 CGUHSD Governing Board meeting.

Nominated by MGySgt Tyrone Davis, Elijah has demonstrated tremendous growth as a leader. He leads with confidence, discipline, and responsibility, supports his fellow cadets, and consistently sets a positive example for others.

His dedication, professionalism, communication skills, and willingness to step up have earned the respect of his peers and instructors.

👏 We are proud to recognize Elijah for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the MCJROTC program!

🎉 Congratulations to our CG Union Rotary Student of the Month, Leah Martin! 🎉

Leah is an outstanding student whose accomplishments in academics, music, leadership, and community service make her an exceptional representative of CG Union.

🎶 A four-year member of the Pride of Casa Grande, Leah has served as assistant drum major and is now this year’s head drum major. She plays flute, vibraphone, and alto saxophone and has earned recognition through Regional Honor Band and orchestra.

📚 Leah has earned a 4 on all four AP exams she has taken and is a member of National Honor Society, Key Club, and Mu Alpha Theta.

🤝 Her commitment to service includes more than 150 volunteer hours at the Public Library and Casa Grande Little League, along with leadership through United Sound.
Leah plans to attend a college or university in Arizona after graduation while continuing to explore her future path.

Her band director describes her as a leader who leads with integrity, empathy, and kindness, while her teachers praise her academic excellence, dedication, responsibility, and ability to balance academics and extracurricular activities.

We are proud to celebrate Leah and all she contributes to the Pride of Casa Grande and the CG Union community! 💙💛👏

🚗🔧 From the Classroom to the Real World!

CG Union Automotive students recently took a field trip to AZ Customs for an inside look at what it’s like to work in a real automotive shop.

Students explored different types of vehicle customization and modifications, saw the tools and equipment used in the industry, and learned about the skills and knowledge needed for careers in automotive. They also had the opportunity to see firsthand how the concepts they learn in class are applied in a professional shop environment.

Experiences like this help our students connect classroom learning to future college and career opportunities! 🛠️

We LOVE celebrating our students! 💙💛🖤💛💜🩵

One of the best parts of what we get to do in PR is share the amazing things happening across our schools! Whether it’s a big athletic win, a club accomplishment, an academic achievement, an individual student success, or a moment that shows great character—we want to celebrate it! 🎉

But here’s the thing… we can’t be everywhere. We rely on our incredible coaches, teachers and staff to let us know about all the great things happening in classrooms, on the fields, in clubs and throughout our schools.

⚾💙 CG Union Key Club at Chase Field!

Members of the CG Union Key Club recently traveled to Chase Field to take part in the Childhood Cancer Awareness Day game on September 12.

The event celebrated the courage and strength of patients from the Phoenix Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders while bringing the community together to raise awareness for childhood cancer.

We’re proud of our Key Club students for getting involved, supporting an important cause, and representing CG Union in the community!
