Child Find Notice - Proportionate Share Meeting

The Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) requires that the Casa Grande Union High School District provide information to the public regarding the provision of equitable special education services to parentally placed private school students with disabilities. Home-schooled children with disabilities are considered in the same category and are also eligible for services under this provision.

Parentally placed students with disabilities in private schools or home-schooled students are not entitled to a free appropriate public education (FAPE), but the district will provide services based on a proportionate share of federal funds. To plan accordingly for the 2026-2027 school year, Casa Grande Union High School District would like to meet with parents/guardians of 9-12th grade students who suspect that their child has a disability which requires an evaluation. Help Us Give Back: Donations Needed!

As we prepare for the 9/11 National Day of Service & Remembrance on September 26, donations are needed to help volunteers create hygiene bags and plastic mats for individuals and families in need. Donations will be accepted through September 25 at the Main Library or Community Recreation Center. Items needed include hygiene products, baby and adult clothing, socks, non-perishable food, and more.

Every donation makes a difference. ❤️🤍💙 Thank you for helping our community come together through service!

9/11 National Day of Service & Remembrance

Join us on Saturday, September 26, from 7:30–11:00 AM at Peart Park as we honor the victims and heroes of 9/11 through service to our community. Volunteers will take part in hands-on projects around Casa Grande, including painting, assembling hygiene kits, and more. ❤️🤍💙

Let’s come together, give back, and make a difference in our community. We hope to see you there!

Vista Grande seniors, join us Monday, August 31 for an important Senior Meeting! Seniors can meet with Jostens from 4:00–6:00 PM, followed by a presentation at 6:00 PM in the Cafeteria & Auditorium.

Topics include graduation requirements, key deadlines, scholarships and financial aid, college applications, post-high school planning, and upcoming senior events. 🎓✨
