A small practice with a big impact. 💛
The most powerful thing you can do today might happen in total silence. Connection doesn't always need words. Sometimes it starts as a quietly and ripples out further than we'll ever know.
Who are you wishing well today? 👇

Celebrating Growth & Parenting Success
One of the special parts of our Home Base program is walking alongside families as they learn and grow together through the Great Kids curriculum.
As parents complete lessons and build confidence in different parenting skills, they receive certificates recognizing their hard work and accomplishments — and they should be incredibly proud!
These moments represent more than just finishing a lesson. They reflect commitment, growth, love, and the dedication families show every day to creating strong, healthy connections with their children.
Congratulations to this amazing parent for completing another step in the journey of learning, empathy, and support.

Dads Matter, Too
Breastfeeding is a team effort, and dads and partners play an important role in helping both mom and baby succeed. From offering encouragement and helping with baby care to learning about breastfeeding together, support at home can make a big difference.
The USDA WIC Breastfeeding Support program offers resources specifically for dads and partners, including tips for bonding with baby, helping mom through challenges, and supporting breastfeeding goals every step of the way.
You don’t have to do it alone — WIC is here to support the whole family.

Messy play meets meaningful learning.
During this home visit, our little learner explored blowing bubbles through slime using a straw — a fun sensory activity packed with developmental benefits. Activities like this help strengthen oral motor muscles used for speech and feeding, encourage breath control, support sensory exploration, and build fine motor coordination. It also creates opportunities for communication, turn-taking, following directions, and creative play.
Best of all, learning through play helps children feel confident, curious, and engaged while bonding with their caregiver and teacher.

Screen time may seem harmless, but for infants and toddlers, real-world interaction is what helps brains grow best. 💙📱➡️🧸
Talking, playing, reading, singing, and connecting face-to-face builds the foundation for language, social skills, emotional development, and learning. Small moments of connection make a BIG impact in early childhood. ✨
This video shares an important reminder about creating healthy screen habits and prioritizing meaningful interaction during the early years: https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=screen+time+for+infants+and+toddlers&mid=0C0AA2DE640B3306D0C70C0AA2DE640B3306D0C7&churl=https%3a%2f%2fwww.youtube.com%2fchannel%2fUCxpCMaUlN2eC8Ub8zMRITJw&FORM=VIRE
