Last week, students in Mr. McBride's class demonstrated how Ancient Greek soldiers used shields for formation and cover. They designed and created their own cardboard shields for the project.

CAREER CAMP SIGN-UP CLOSES SOON!
**This is only open to existing CGESD students**
The application is to be filled out by parents of current 5th to 8th graders attending any of our CGESD schools for the 2026 Career Camp. Paperwork is due May 8th, and camp assignments will be emailed the week of May 18th.

DATE: June 1st to June 4th.
TIME: 8:00 AM-2:00 PM on Monday to Wednesday
and 8:00AM-12PM on Thursday.
On Thursday the 4th, we will have a Community Showcase starting at 11:00 AM in COIL's MPR. Career Camp is open for all students who are currently in 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade during the 2025-2026 school year.
WHERE: Career Camp will be held on COIL's campus.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided free of charge. Transportation is available for students who live in the CGESD boundaries.
