Fr. Ariel visited our 2nd grade class and shared a beautiful story about “The Humble Pie.” 🥧 Through the story, our students were reminded of the importance of staying humble, showing kindness, and putting others before ourselves. ❤️

🇺🇸 We Remember. We Pray. We Honor. 🇺🇸

This morning, our St. Anthony students gathered together in prayer and remembrance as we reflected on the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

We remembered the moments that changed our nation forever:
🕊️ 8:46 AM — American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower
🕊️ 9:03 AM — United Airlines Flight 175 struck the South Tower
🕊️ 9:37 AM — American Airlines Flight 77 struck the Pentagon
🕊️ 9:59 AM — The South Tower collapsed
🕊️ 10:03 AM — United Airlines Flight 93 crashed in Pennsylvania
🕊️ 10:28 AM — The North Tower collapsed

Our students prayed for the 2,977 innocent lives lost, for the families who continue to carry their loss, for the first responders and heroes who served that day, and for our country.

Together, we also proudly said the Pledge of Allegiance, reminding our students that remembering our history is part of honoring those who came before us.

Our flag flew at half-staff today as a symbol of our nation’s grief, remembrance, and gratitude.

May we never forget the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the spirit of unity that brought our nation together.

God bless those we lost. God bless their families. God bless our first responders. And God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸🙏🏼

Today our preschoolers had their vision and hearing screenings through the University of Arizona’s Developmental & Sensory Screening Program! Our little Eagles did a wonderful job participating and showing off their listening and looking skills. 🦅✨
