We want to give a huge shoutout to one of our amazing assistant teachers, Marcie Rodriguez, who recently became a published author! 🎉

Her book, Four Little Pups: A Desert Adventure, was read to our students today during a special classroom visit. Even more exciting, one of the stars of the book, “Bane” the dog, came along to meet everyone too! 🐾

This week, our students have been learning that people can be creators. Authors create stories, artists create art, chefs create food, and every person has the ability to create something meaningful to share with the world. Seeing someone they know write and publish a real book made that lesson come alive in such a powerful way.

Our students loved the story, the visit, and of course all the puppy excitement. We are so proud to celebrate the creativity and hard work of our staff both inside and outside the classroom. ❤️

Today we’re celebrating someone who brings so much calm, patience, and kindness into our school. Zoie has a gentle way of supporting our students that makes them feel safe, understood, and cared for in every moment.

She shows up each day with a steady presence and a heart for what she does, and it truly makes a difference. Our students love her, our team relies on her, and Bridges is better because she’s part of it.
