CGUHS Trap and S***t Team athletes and Coach David enjoyed a beautiful day in Flagstaff, Arizona.
The athlete's who attended the shoot were Gabriel, Julianna and Anthony. They shot 100 sporting clays in beautiful weather and a change of scenery. These athletes also received some swag from the club at registration.
This was also a registered SCTP shoot for these athletes. Great job to these kids for working hard in all disciplines and going out of their comfort zone to shoot somewhere else.
Coaches are very proud of you!

CGUHS Trap and S***t Teams third Senior Spotlight goes to Brayden Reynolds. ๐๐จโ๐
๐ Brayden is graduating from PACE High school. He has been on the team for two years. Over the past two years Braydens scores have been an essential component to the team two time State Championships wins and many individual top finishes.
๐ After I graduate I will continue to design my Street Wear, Final Act, while attending business courses at CAC and seeking to invest into my creative ideas.
๐ My favorite memory was when I shot my first 25 in trap and the team shot my hat in honor of my accomplishment.
๐ My favorite discipline is S***t because I like the variety. The shooting stations and angles change, so it never feels completely repetitive. Plus, it's done in groups, with a relaxed, supportive vibe between rounds, which makes it enjoyable.
๐ My advice to new athletes is shootings like being a QB, if you fumble then focus on hitting the next target.
๐ Coaches want to highlight Braydens commitment to the team even while holding a job. His positive attitude and sense of humor always encouraged his squad. We hope to see Brayden as part of the SCTP Collegiate squad next season.
Congratulations Brayden! ๐๐ฅณ๐

Last weekend Gabriel stepped outside his and
the teams normal comfort zone and competed in the Scholastic Clay Target Programs International S***t Commissioners Cup. Coaches are impressed by your commitment to try new disciplines.
Coaches are proud to report that Gabriel came
in first ๐ฅplace for SCTP Varsity mens.
He also placed 3rd ๐ฅ for Overall mens for
Junior Olympics. Keep up the great work Gabriel!

๐๐๐CGUHS Trap and S***t Teams second Senior Spotlight goes out to Noah Camargo.
๐Noah has been an officer on the team for all three years. He has served as secretary, Vice President and is currently serving as the teams President. Thank you Noah for your dedication to the team.
๐๐Noah is graduating from Casa Grande Union High School. Over the past three years Noah's scores have been a vital part of the teams two State Championships. He has also won many individual first place finishes.
๐Noah plans on joining the Air Force after graduation and will focus on cyber security.
๐His favorite memory with the team is competing in the Scholastic Clay Target Programs State Commissioners cup and winning first place in s***t. His squad also earned Arizona vests.
๐ฏNoah shoots Trap, S***t and Sporting clays with S***t being his favorite discipline.
๐His advice to new athletes is always have a good attitude despite your scores.
๐Coaches want to highlight Noah's leadership skills, his positive attitude and his willingness to give back to his teammates.
๐A HUGE shout out to Noah's dad Andre for always stepping up when needed.
