A child's behavior is only the tip of the iceberg. 🧊

But there’s often something deeper happening beneath the surface.

Big emotions, unmet needs, overwhelm, hunger, fatigue, or a need for connection can all show up through hurtful behaviors, because young children don't yet have the words to explain what’s really going on.

So our advice to parents? Use the behavior as a clue, then help your child name the feeling or need behind it. 💙 That's the Conscious Discipline way.

In our national survey with Talker Research, parents overwhelmingly agreed that imagination matters in early childhood. Unfortunately, far fewer said their children are getting enough chances to use it throughout the day.

That’s where the right preschool experience can be life-changing for your child’s future.🏫
