Yesterday at the Tenarashikan Dojo in Cary, NC we kicked off the month of August with another incredible day of training in Kazan Ryu Bujutsu Kihon. We welcomed another new student to our ranks, Marlon. Our focus: Kenjutsu Gamae, Kiri Waza, Tsuki Waza, Keri Waza, Taisabaki No Ken, Kaiten to Ukemi, and Atemi Waza with Kihon Taijutsu…

Last week at the Tenarashikan Dojo in Cary we closed out July with an amazing day of training. Our focus: Kazan Ryu Kihon Review for our new candidate Maly, and for our Yudansha: Kazan Ryu Taijutsu (Tsuchi to Ka)…

Today at the Tenarashikan Dojo in Cary, NC we had a very special day of training. Bret Gordan of Yoshinkan Aiki Jujutsu and KNBR Brother joined us today for an incredible day of Aiki with our Bujutsu Family. Thank you so very much Gordan, Sensei for sharing your time and your Aiki knowledge with us. It was an amazing time…🙏🏻

Last week Kazan Ryu Bujutsu Kai traveled to Morganton, NC to attend another Yamakage Ryu Seminar under David Osborne, Kyoshi. This was an incredible day of training, instruction and fellowship. Special thanks to Scott Coffey, Hanshi and Gateway Martial Arts for for hosting this marvelous event. 🙏🏻

Today at the Tenarashikan Dojo in Cary, NC we enjoyed and incredible day of training. Our focus: Yamakage Ryu Bujutsu Heiho review. This review session centered around Taisabaki Waza with Kentsui Uchi, Tanto, Hanbo, Wakizashi, and Yamakage Ken Waza…🙏🏻

We ended out the month of May with another incredible day of training. Our focus: Kazan Ryu Iaijutsu (Jodan, Chudan and Gedan Kiri), Kumitachi Kenjutsu Kata, Jo Waza, and Ansatsu Ni Taisuru Bengo…🙏🏻

May has been an incredible month of exploration into the Kihon and fundamental review. I could not be prouder of my Bujutsu Family. Hard work, perseverance, and consistency have been alive within the Tenarashikan Dojo here in 2026…🙏🏻
