On August 9th, we’re hosting Math Discovery Day—a two hour hands-on, collaborative experience where students explore big ideas, engage in creative problem solving, and begin to see math in a whole new way.

It’s meaningful. It’s energizing. And it’s designed to build confidence while having fun.

Mindset Monday
Helping kids build a better relationship with math starts with how we think about it—and how we talk about it at home.
That’s why Cary Preparatory is offering a free parent workshop this summer focused on math mindset, confidence, and simple strategies to support your child’s growth.
The first session is Tuesday, June 17, and workshops continue every Tuesday through the end of July. Each session covers the same content, so you only need to attend once—but you're welcome to come back if you’d like a refresher or to join a different group.
A quick note about kids:
This workshop is designed for adults and centers around parent-focused conversation and learning. Children are welcome if needed, but the content isn’t geared toward them—and it may be tough for younger ones with shorter attention spans to stay engaged.
Seating is limited to 12 participants per session.
