Did you know you can earn cash for Northwoods by simply scanning your grocery receipt with Box Tops app on your mobile device?

Here's how:
1. Download the Box Tops for Education app on your phone
2. Sign up and pick Northwoods Elementary
3. Buy participating items at any store
4. Tap Scan and take a picture of your physical receipt within 14 days
5. Submit digital or online grocery receipts through the app as well

In order to earn cash for your school, you'll need to use the Box Tops app on your mobile device.

Walk to School Day will be held on Wednesday, October 7th, 2026.

We will meet at Robert V. Godbold park basketball courts from 8:15am - 8:30am and walk to school along the Northwoods Greenway.

Help foster a love of reading by encouraging your student to join the Northwoods Book Club!

Students will be grouped by grade (K–2 and 3–5). Younger students will enjoy story time and showing off their favorite books, while older students will read a selected book ahead of time to discuss during the meeting.

All meetings will occur at 8:00 AM in the Media Center, and a light breakfast will be served.

Parent volunteers are welcome to join meetings (WCPSS Volunteer Clearance must be up-to-date).

Thanks for signing up your Northwoods Student for Book Club! You must re-register your student every school year!
