The PCBB Alumni Committee holds social events and to maintain friendships "after" our active band years. Through events and raffles, we provide financial support to to Panther Creek Band. Band Seniors: Enjoy your last weeks of marching band! It's time for cooler weather, marching in parades, and filling the air with music as you pass through downtown Apex...thousands of people watching you under the night sky and holiday lights. What a feeling of accomplishment!

Band Senior parents, breath in the cool air at the parades, watch your student march by, and remember the last 4 years of band....the first "parent night" in the August heat (you never knew you would be marching yourself!); anticipation of finding your freshman student on the the football field for the first time; the silence of the crowd as the band begins their show in competition; holding your breath as the kids approach their jazz run; concerts; pot luck dinners, and the feeling of satisfaction (and perhaps relief) as season winds down. And the friendships...so many parents pulling together to make this crazy band thing happen. Uniforms and make up. Plumes and gloves. Prop building and truck loading. Practices and carpooling. The kids are not the only ones having a good time.

As any alumni knows, the season may change, and our activities with our kids evolve, but each activity brings new friends...and ones we cherish long after we move to "the next thing."

Students are receiving their Raffle Ticket packs today (Tuesday)! Now that they are back from BOA, we'll get this sax party started!

Countdown until the Alumni Reunion event on January 25, 2014! The winning sax ticket will be drawn that night at the Alumni Party! Details coming soon!

This beautiful saxophone was donated to our organization by Kenny G, the phenomenally successful contemporary and smooth jazz saxophonist. Our Panther Creek Alumni committee plans to transform the donated instrument into financial support for the program.
