Christian Youth Theater - CYT Chicago CYT Chicago is the premier youth theater serving Illinois and Wisconsin. CYT Chicago is a non-profit, educational theater program for kids ages 5-18.

With dozens of high octane classes make learning both educational and fun! With disciplines ranging from dance, drama, and voice to stunt combat, makeup, and puppetry, there is an exciting class for everyone. With multiple productions throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin, there is a CYT show just a short drive from you! Come check out the local talent, fun costumes, and amazing stories that CYT gets to tell!

Did you know we offer weekday, daytime shows geared to schools looking for affordable field trips? Our field trip shows are also popular with senior center outings!

We encourage submitting your reservation request as soon as you can as we already have some field trip shows sold out. This happens every year - so don’t wait!

The (not so) hidden backbone of CYT Chicago is our amazing group of CYT parents, who are the definition of “above and beyond”!

From our overnight camp parents (pictured here) to those who carpool to classes/rehearsals/shows, show up at the warehouse to work, serve lunches to our casts, thrift for costume pieces, create amazing props, meet to pray for our communities, and EVERYTHING (and we do mean everything) in between… we appreciate you and we love you!
