Using mobile classrooms, Read and Feed provides meals to eliminate hunger, tutors to help children read, and books to build home libraries.

Read and Feed's mission is to strengthen literacy skills among underserved elementary school children and provide meals in a nurturing neighborhood environment.

As we wrap up a successful summer of book distributions, we need your help restocking our take-home book selection. Hosting a donation drive to collect new or gently used children’s books is a wonderful way to ensure students have quality titles to choose from every week.

Thank you to local author Tomeko Brown and Brecotea for coming together to host a community book drive! They collected 317 beautiful books to build our students' home libraries. We sincerely appreciate all of Tomeko's hard work and Brecotea's willingness to host the drive!💚

A huge thank you to the Prestonwood Piranhas for hosting a book donation drive at their final swim meet and team banquet! They collected 490 books that will help build children's home libraries across Wake, Durham, Orange, and Chatham counties this summer!📚
