I'd love to share an incredible story that happened in my local BuyNothing Group here in Cary, NC.

For those unfamiliar, these groups are a part of a global movement encouraging people to gift items they no longer need, fostering a culture of generosity and sustainability. You should absolutely join one in your community!

Someone in the group offered an item on the group, aiming to assist someone facing challenges. Moved by another member's account of a single mother and her struggle raising her nieces, she was inspired to amplify her impact.

This led to a collaboration among strangers in the Buy Nothing Group to individually purchase items to create a Thanksgiving dinner for the family.

The family was overwhelmed with gratitude.

It gets better . . .

The group members, all strangers, came together to raise almost $2,000 in gifts, ensuring the family experiences a joyous and memorable Christmas. I can't say what the gifts are since they haven't gotten them yet ;)

This story isn't just about the holidays; it's a testament to the power of community. It shows how complete strangers can unite to make a significant difference in the lives of others.

(You know I like AI, so here's an AI generated picture representing the family :))

Where do you belong?

A father said to his daughter “You have graduated with honors, here is a car I bought many years ago. It is pretty old now. But before I give it to you, take it to the used car lot downtown and tell them I want to sell it and see how much they offer you for it.”

The daughter went to the used car lot, returned to her father and said, “They offered me $1,000 because the said it looks pretty worn out.”

The father said, now “Take it to the pawn shop.” The daughter went to the pawn shop, returned to her father and said,”The pawn shop offered only $100 because it is an old car.”

The father asked his daughter to go to a car club now and show them the car. The daughter then took the car to the club, returned and told her father,” Some people in the club offered $100,000 for it because “it's an iconic car and sought by many collectors.”

Now the father said this to his daughter, “The right place values you the right way,” If you are not valued, do not be angry, it means you are in the wrong place. Those who know your value are those who appreciate you......Never stay in a place where no one sees your value.

I was on a real estate investor's forum on Facebook yesterday and someone asked "What other investments outside of real estate do you invest in?"

I was reading the responses and was surprised no one said what I was thinking.

Do you know what that was?

I'll give you a hint . . .

“If you have dreams, goals, or aspirations, you need to grow to achieve them."

So what do I invest in . .. I invest in ME!

Not only am I worth it, but I need to do the inner work to allow the external work to flourish.

So that's why I continue to find ways to invest in my own growth and learning.

How am I doing this now?

Last week, I watched a free three part series on a topic and started to take action. But when the time came to invest in the program this gentleman was promoting, I didn't pull the trigger.

Why?

Because I knew I had the resources to do it on my own. I knew what to do and started to take action to do immediately so I could help uplevel those I serve in my business to take massive action.

But at the 23rd hour, I bought it.

Why?

Because I knew what I wanted to grow even further, even quicker. I wanted a community to support me and cut down my learning time. I knew I wanted partners to keep my accountable.

I have big uphill dreams that I match with uphill habits.

Where are you at in your impact journey? What are you doing to continue to action on your dreams and aspirations?

Where you on your Impact to Income journey?

AVERAGE is what failures claim when their families ask them why they’re not successful.

AVERAGE is the top of the bottom, the best of the worst; the worst of the best, which of these are you?

AVERAGE means being run off the mill, mediocre, insignificant, and also ran a nonentity.

Being AVERAGE is to take up space for no purpose, to take the trip through life but never to pay the fare, to return no interest for God’s investment in you.

Being AVERAGE is to pass one’s life away with time, rather than to work it to death.

To be AVERAGE is to be forgotten once you pass from this life.

The successful are remembered because they tried. But the AVERAGE, the silent majority is just forgotten.

To be AVERAGE is to commit the greatest crime one can against one self, humanity and one’s God.

The saddest epitaph is this: HERE’S Mr. and Mrs. AVERAGE, here lies the remains of what might have been, except for their belief that they were only AVERAGE.

Living the life you want takes work.

What are you doing today to be intentional about being the best version of yourself?
I used my favorite Morning Miracle method and did some reading writing and gratitude!

Barely the day started and... it's already six in the evening.
Barely arrived on Monday and it's already Friday.

And …

❌ the month is already over.
❌ the year is almost over.
❌ already 30, 40, 50 or 60 years of our lives have passed.
❌ we realize that we lost our parents, friends.
❌ we realize it's too late to go back...

So, let's try, despite everything, to enjoy the remaining time.

✅ Let's keep looking for activities that fill us with joy ...
✅ Let's put some color in our grey...
✅ Let's smile at the little things in life that put balm in our hearts.
✅ Let’s live a life of Gratitude

And despite everything, we must continue to enjoy with serenity this time we have left.
Let's try to eliminate the afters...
I'm doing it after...
I'll say it after...
I'll think about it after...

We leave things for later like ′′ after ′′ is guaranteed.

Because what we don't understand is that:

Afterwards, the coffee gets cold...
afterwards, priorities change.

Afterwards, the charm is broken...
afterwards, health passes.

Afterwards, the kids grow up...
afterwards parents get old.

Afterwards, promises are forgotten...
afterwards, the day becomes the night.

Afterwards, life ends.

. . and then it's too late.

The day is today. The moment is now.

We are never at the age where we can afford to postpone what needs to be done right away.

What is that "thing" you are waiting to do?

Have you ever stopped to think about what it would like to do ”that thing” you’ve been dreaming about for years?

What if it not only changes your life, but others’ lives in the process?

What is one thing you could do today to step forward in the direction of finding out what is needed to make it happen?
