Attention Chameleons! Carpenter is having a School Supply Drive from August 3-14. Help support Carpenter students and families by donating new school supplies.

Not only do you get to help families, this School Supply Drive is also a staff organized grade-level competition. The grade that collects the most donations will win a popsicle party! Attention All Carpenter Families!

The 2026–2027 Wake County Public Schools Volunteer Registration and Renewal Process is open!

As a reminder, to volunteer at any WCPSS event you MUST renew your status every year. This includes chaperoning field trips, helping in the classroom, and volunteering at school events such as Book Fair and Field Day.

The process is quick and easy to either renew or register for the first time! If you were approved to volunteer during the 2025–26 school year, keep an eye on your inbox — you should have received an email with simple steps to renew your status for the upcoming year or you can renew at the link below!

A big congrats to our 5th grade track 2, 3 & 4 students who had their promotion ceremony on Friday! 👏The PTA supports these ceremonies with a reception in the media center, decorations and slideshows. Wishing our outgoing chameleons the best of luck in middle school! 💚💛

Last week we were thrilled to welcome back our former Chameleons as they returned to walk the halls of their elementary school in their caps and gowns before graduation. Seeing these incredible seniors come full circle was such a sweet and emotional moment.

The smiles on our current students’ faces said it all as they cheered them on, high-fived them, and caught a glimpse of what their own futures might hold. It was also so special to have several former teachers there to celebrate and reconnect with the students they once taught.

Congratulations to our graduating seniors! We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you. Once a Chameleon, always a Chameleon. 💚🎓
