Carpenter Elementary School - PTA

Last week we were thrilled to welcome back our former Chameleons as they returned to walk the halls of their elementary school in their caps and gowns before graduation. Seeing these incredible seniors come full circle was such a sweet and emotional moment.

The smiles on our current students’ faces said it all as they cheered them on, high-fived them, and caught a glimpse of what their own futures might hold. It was also so special to have several former teachers there to celebrate and reconnect with the students they once taught.

Congratulations to our graduating seniors! We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you. Once a Chameleon, always a Chameleon. 💚🎓

A big congrats to our fifth grade Track 1 students who had their promotion last Tuesday! The PTA supports these ceremonies with a reception in the media center, decorations and slideshows. Wishing our outgoing Chameleons the best of luck in middle school! 🎉

And finally, today we wrapped things up by covering recess for teachers and staff ☀️ While an extra-long fire drill created a little unexpected plot twist 😅, the teachers were so appreciative of the volunteers who jumped in to help make it happen. Thank you to our recess volunteers for wrangling kids, bandaiding scrapes, playing games, and keeping everyone company.

Teacher Appreciation Week is always fun, exhausting, chaotic, rewarding, and FULL of teamwork, and this week was no exception. Thank you to every family who donated, volunteered, sponsored, delivered, scooped, organized, carried, cleaned, decorated, or simply cheered us on along the way.

Most importantly, THANK YOU to our incredible Carpenter teachers and staff for everything you do for our kids every single day. We hope you felt celebrated, appreciated, and maybe just a little nostalgic this week 💜📼✨

Teachers were able to stop by and build their own bouquets, making it such a fun and colorful way to celebrate the amazing staff who do so much for our students every day. The smiles, flowers, and joy made the whole room bloom! 🌸

A huge THANK YOU to all of the families who purchased bouquets, brought flowers in, and have taken the time this week to tell teachers and staff just how appreciated they are. Thanks to the Foster family for sponsoring our roses, the Mouillesseaux family for sponsoring our carnations and the Perkins family for sponsoring our vases. All of these gestures truly mean so much and have made this week extra special for our staff. 💕🌼
