Happy Instructional Assistant Day! 🎉

Our Chameleon Instructional Assistants support our classrooms and students in so many ways and are integral to our school. Today Carpenter Elementary School - PTA showed our Instructional Assistants our appreciation with special Chameleon tote bags with some fun goodies inside. Principal Collins and Assistant Principal Miller showed their appreciation by covering all the lunches for the Instructional Assistants today.

Thank you Instructional Assistants for everything you do for Carpenter Elementary! We hope you felt loved today! Here are some pictures of a few of our IAs with their present from the PTA.

Tracks 2 and 3, Get excited because Mad Science starts NEXT week. The Mad Science this session is Crazy Chemworks! Students will get to see Chemistry in action and perform exciting chemistry experiments. Registration is open to students in First through Fifth Grade.

We are excited to announce that Mad Science is returning to Carpenter and is offering Fall Sessions this year! These sessions will last for six weeks and the theme for these sessions will be Crazy Chemworks Lab. This program will explore the chemistry of everyday life. Students will perform exciting hands-on experiments in a safe and confidence building environment.

Mad Science is open to students at Carpenter in Grades 1-5. Mad Science will meet after school at Carpenter on Tuesdays at 3:45PM - 5:15PM.
- Tracks 2 and 3, Mad Science will start on 09/15.
- Tracks 1 and 4, Mad Science will start on 10/27.

Exciting news! Chess Club, hosted by Triangle Chess, is coming back to Carpenter Elementary this year. Students in 2nd Grade - 5th Grade are welcome to participate.

Chess Club will meet at Carpenter Elementary, on Thursdays from 3:45PM - 5:00PM starting on September 17th.
