Gifted Stars Early Learning Academy - Cary/Morrisville Campus

Today our kiddos got creative with a fun beaver-themed art project! First, they decorated their adorable beavers, then painted colorful backgrounds for their artwork. After the paint dried, they glued their beavers onto the paper and added the finishing touch by poking a hole through the beaver and inserting a wooden stick to create a realistic "log"!
This hands-on activity helped strengthen fine motor skills, creativity, and problem-solving while giving our little artists a chance to have fun and express themselves.
We love seeing their imaginations come to life! 🎨✨

Today our campers enjoyed a special trip to the movies to watch Bad Guys 2! 🍿🐺🎥
We were especially thankful to be in a theater that wasn't crowded with large groups from other camps and schools. This gave our campers the opportunity to relax, enjoy their snacks, and watch the movie together in a comfortable and fun environment. 🍿🥤✨
The laughter, excitement, and shared experience made for a wonderful day and created great memories for our campers. We love providing opportunities for our students to explore the community, build friendships, and have fun together throughout the summer! ☀️⭐

Today our campers had a beary fun time creating their own Block Bear Caves! First, they decorated their adorable bear pictures, then they used blocks dipped in paint to stamp and build a colorful “cave” around their bears.
This hands-on activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and lots of imagination as the children explored art in a fun and unique way. We love watching our little learners turn simple materials into amazing masterpieces! 🎨🧱

Today our campers put on their chef hats and made their very own homemade smoothies! Using fresh bananas, blueberries, and yogurt, they mixed up a delicious and healthy treat while learning about nutrition, measuring ingredients, and making healthy choices.
The best part? Everyone got to enjoy tasting their creations! 😋
