Transformation Tuesday: Send It!
Haven't skied since you were eight years old? No problem: Send It.
Never skied before? No pressure: Full Send!
100% commitment, despite the outcome.
When is the last time nerves or self-doubt served you? Mindset matters, no matter the situation. Positive mental imagery and an uplifting internal voice can bring calm and competence to almost any challenging situation. Assuming a strength pose before a challenge can create commanding, positive energy.
Shoutout to my travel ski buddies for a positive mindset and a FULL SEND at Beaver Creek. Briana Leuth, Nils Corrales, Nicole Leuth, BrittanyAnn

Congrats to on their successful kick-off to their 2022 Wellness Series! We had great employee turnout at our first session, with energized attendees that are ready to take control of their health and wellness! The group generated lots of ideas to share health and wellness across their teams in a fun and engaging manner. These ideas are already being implemented!
It’s been a pleasure working with Paul Skordilis, Jim Housley, and Jenna Pavlak on this important wellness programming for . Transformation Tuesday: Row the boat. As an emotional intelligence coach, watching Tom Brady orchestrate another winning team is something to study and admire. Brady’s EQ helps him build high-performing teams with a bond of trust.
As a Panther’s fan, as painful as that is, a lack of trust seems to be a recurring theme. Without trust, performance wains.
Do your teams have a bond of trust? Are they open to feedback, honest, healthy debate and new ideas? Creating high-performing teams often requires coaching and training. Interested in learning more? Let’s talk.
Can Brady do it again? I have a feeling that his boat is rowing in the right direction.

Transformation Tuesday: What did you fail at this week? Sara Blakely, CEO of Spanx®, shares that her father would ask her that question. Blakely was taught that failure was not trying due to fear.
Blakely believes it's important to fail in order to grow. She shares stories of her own embarrassment or "failures" with others. It shows vulnerability and enables her to connect with people on an emotional level. Blakely's mindset is an amazing asset and her emotional intelligence is superior.
Was choosing a picture of a woman in Spanx® for this post a risky move? Maybe. But it's part of Sea Change Growth's 2022 commitment: No Failure, No Fear.
What would you or your team be doing if you had no fear of failure?

Transformation Tuesday: the intersection of wellness and leadership. As an executive wellness coach, I am often asked how leadership and wellness relate. The reality is that a person's wellness and well-being impacts their ability to lead. When I coach individuals and teams, we work on this important connection. Emotional intelligence training includes understanding the significance of well-being, and wellness is a key driver.
As we start 2022, have you thought about your well-being and how it impacts your leadership effectiveness? If you or your team are like most people under these stressful Covid conditions, executive wellness training and coaching can help.

Transformation Tuesday: Do you hear what I hear? Which voice do you listen to? Is it a voice that lifts you or one that holds you back?
Every day we face choices regarding our mindset. Positive thoughts and emotions increase our energy and productivity, improve health and relationships, and boost our well-being.
Conversely, if we allow a negative mindset to rule, our health, productivity and well-being suffer. How we show up and express ourselves to others are key components of emotional intelligence and leadership.
This is true of both individuals and teams. A negative or discouraged team mindset spells doom for its functionality and productivity. COVID has unleashed a lot of negative emotions in the workplace that may need a reset. Coaching and emotional intelligence workshops may provide the transformation you are seeking.
Harnessing your mind is just one of the key topics within Sea Change Growth’s Emotionally Intellgent Leadership Series. Interested in learning more? Let’s talk.

Wellness Wednesday: “I’ll get healthy later next year, there’s too much at stake in my career right now. Work-life balance, there is no such thing.”
Does this sound like you, or members of your team?
Unfortunately, our health and well-being can’t be put on hold until we make time to focus on it. Our body and mind need continuous refueling, and the time is now. Wellness and long-term job performance are positively correlated, and companies that support a wellness culture outperform their peers. COVID and remote work environments have wreaked havoc on the health and mental well-being of so many workers.
As an Executive and Wellness Coach, wellness is always incorporated into my client’s leadership journey. My company, Sea Change Growth, is offering a three-part virtual wellness series and coaching program that can get you and your workforce back to healthy habits for 2022.
Are you ready for a Sea Change in your company’s health and wellness? Let’s talk.

Transformation Tuesday: “I don’t know pressure.” These were the words an elite tennis player used when asked how he handles pressure on the court.
When prompted to share more, he went on to say, “I know what I need to do, I keep my mind focused, and that’s it.”
Mindfulness, laser focus, and removing negative self talk can be very powerful when working towards a goal. No unmanaged stress. Stress management is a key aspect of emotional intelligence, and a quintessential characteristic of high-performing leaders.
Do you know pressure?

Transformation Tuesday: Stuck in a traffic circle. Ever get stuck in a complex traffic circle with aggressively fast drivers and feeling unsure how and when to safely change lanes? While driving in Lisbon this past month, I thought a lot about these questions. I loved Lisbon but the traffic circles gave me pause. There were many blind spots due to beautiful monuments, which added to my joy but also complicated my decision making. The good news was that after I navigated a few circles and learned what was working and what didn't, my decision making improved. The key was to not get stuck.
Leaders can often feel like they are stuck in a traffic circle, not knowing when and how to change lanes, how to confront their fears and blind spots, and when and how to move forward. Leadership coaching in a safe and confidential environment supports those that feel stuck and helps them move forward. Having the self-awareness that you are in neutral is a big piece of emotional intelligence (EQ), and the first step towards moving forward.
