During today’s daily walking curriculum, one of our kindergarten students made an exciting discovery—a baby tortoise! The children were filled with joy and curiosity as they carefully observed this special little creature in nature.
Our walking curriculum offers so many benefits beyond physical exercise. It gives students opportunities to:
🌱 Explore and appreciate nature
🔍 Strengthen observation and critical-thinking skills
🚶🏽‍♀️ Build healthy movement habits
🤝 Practice safety, cooperation, and following directions
🌎 Learn about their community through real-world experiences

🍎🥧 Fall Apple Pie Sensory Fun! 🥧🍎
Today, our Gifted Stars students explored our fall apple-pie sensory bins! They had so much fun scooping, pouring, filling pie pans, arranging pretend ingredients, and creating their own delicious-looking apple pies. 🍂
Sensory play encourages children to explore different textures while strengthening fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, focus, problem-solving, and imaginative play. Our students also practiced sharing materials and using new fall-themed vocabulary as they played and learned together!
Learning is always sweeter when little hands can explore, create, and have fun! 💜💛⭐

🤟🏽✨ Our Preschoolers Are Learning to Communicate in New Ways! ✨🤟🏽
Today, our preschoolers learned how to sign the letter “A” in American Sign Language! Through this fun, hands-on lesson, students practiced letter recognition, fine-motor skills, focus, and a new way to express themselves.
Introducing sign language encourages inclusion, builds communication skills, and teaches children that people can connect in many wonderful ways! 💜💛

We are excited to introduce Mrs. Kher, our talented art teacher for 2 YEARS at Gifted Stars!
Vaidehi holds a Master’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. She brings a wealth of international experience from working in the creative-design field across the UK, Singapore, and India.
Mrs. Kher is passionate about the transformative power of art. She believes art inspires creativity, builds confidence, encourages self-expression, and enriches the lives of children.

🫐👩🏽‍🍳 Baking Up Sweet Memories! 🧁💙
Today, our little chefs had so much fun in the kitchen making homemade blueberry muffins! 🫐✨
The children practiced measuring, mixing, pouring, and following directions while learning valuable cooking skills. Best of all, they enjoyed tasting the delicious muffins they worked so hard to make! 💙
Hands-on activities like cooking help strengthen math, science, language, and fine motor skills while creating wonderful memories with friends.
