Jannie May Home Day Care Center I have a very small unique newly licensed home day care that focuses on play which is the key element to promoting child development. CPR/First Aid certified.

Quiet neighborhood and beautiful home with a fenced backyard and huge play set, great park one block away. My vision is to remain small so I have that one-on-one time that is so important. My curriculum will focus on: Basic motor skills, language and communication, basic Spanish, sign language, cognitive development, physical, personal and social development, creativity and arts, therapeutic play,

outdoor play and more. I specialize in therapeutic play which focuses on promoting trust, self esteem, and healthy ways to express anger, etc. Healthy meals and snacks provided. I am available full time Monday - Friday. Hours 8:00 - 5:00pm (depending on parents schedule). I do have substitute staff. BA Degree in Psychology/Child Development. I have over 20 years experience working with children and I am a Certified Child Life Specialist with 10+ years experience working in a Children's Hospital supporting children and their families. Nanny experience. Grief Support Group Facilitor specializing in helping children through grief and loss. Excellent references including the Director of Child Life at Children's Hospital in St. Paul. I have a huge heart for children, very loving and nuturing, and have a calm presence. I love making a difference in many children and families lives.
