Welcome to “ABC & Me Preschool Child Care”. My name is Jeannie Crivello. I have a Masters in Education, Certifications in Reading and Special Education and a Master Reiki scholar. I am happy to open my home and share my love for children with you and your child. Open Monday through Friday, 48 weeks a year, I am excited about the opportu
nity to help your child grow and learn in a safe and nurturing environment. After teaching for nearly 30 years, I am enjoying providing the same level of care and education in an environment that everyone enjoys – the home. Featuring sensory motor, gross and fine motor skills, dramatic play, arts and crafts, cooking and free play to name a few, your child will enjoy coming to day care and feel safe and happy while you are away. With a loving heart and a nurturing environment, your infant will be safe in my home. As a certified early literacy teacher and special needs teacher, I am committed to offering the young preschoolers a sound foundation of skills needed for Kindergarten. Additionally, I am offering older children after school care. A summer program which is camp like will be fun for all. Private tutoring is also an option for an additional fee. Now a bit more about our program….. I am licensed, certified, First Aid, CPR and follow State Framework Curriculum as well as a state food program. The morning begins with Pat, a retired RN, and mom helping with arrival and morning free play, choice time and outside play. A mid morning healthy snack, Circle sharing and structured activity brings us to lunchtime. After lunch and rest time, I will present thematic activities that will be the highlight as well as second circle time, sharing time and more free choices. Of course an afternoon snack when we awaken from slumbers
The afternoon closes with outside play, and tidying up to go home. I am confident that after a full and happy day, your child or children will be very delighted to see you. Their smile will set you at ease that it was a good day for all. And before I continue, my original blessings and ABC’s:

At “ABC and Me” we respect children as individuals. Age-appropriate programs and dedicated caregivers ensure that children get the positive learning experiences they need to grow up happy and confident. Experience matters when it comes to childcare, and after spending over 30 years with children, I believe that for children to excel and succeed in school and life, they need to first feel safe, loved and happy. Additionally, it is important for a child to develop a love of exploring and learning at an early age. DISCIPLINE POLICY:
Discipline and Behavior Management strategies are implemented with positive reinforcement, redirection or if needed removing the child from an area if he or she is exhibiting negative behavior. When a child knows the rules and expectations and has comfort in the consistency of a routine, he or she feels safe, loved and confident. At “ABC and Me” we provide care for all ages.
