We are looking forward to seeing everyone during OPEN HOUSE on Aug. 20th from 4-6PM.

Pre-K OPEN HOUSE will be held on Tues., Aug. 25th, from 4-6PM.
The first day of school for Pre-k students only will be Thurs., Aug. 27th.

2026 School Supply Lists can be found at Hays, Dollar General, and Dollar Tree in Caruthersville, as well as, Wal-Mart in Dyersburg for your convenience. Also, the Wal-Mart in Kennett has a copy as well.

Pemiscot County R-3 and Cooter R-4 School Districts will host a town hall on June 25th at 6pm in the Pemiscot County R-3 Gym to discuss the possibility of consolidation. If you would like to know more about this, please plan to attend.

The Pemiscot County R-3 and Cooter R-4 School Boards have recently voted to place a school consolidation measure on the August 4, 2026 ballot. If this measure passes, school consolidation will begin with the 27-28 school year.

This initiative represents an opportunity for both districts to combine resources and enhance educational opportunities, with the goal of maximizing student success.

Community members are encouraged to stay informed and engaged throughout this process. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact your school superintendent or a member of your local school board.

Ballot Language -

Shall the Pemiscot County R-III School District and the Cooter R-IV School District form a new district with a tax rate ceiling of $4.4193 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation. If this proposition is approved the District operating levy of the new school district is estimated to be $4.4193 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation.

What a joy it is to receive the Principal's Award!! These students were treated to brownies with ice cream. They also had a blast planting flowers that make the front of the school very pretty.
