"I’m Nathan Thomas Vandeman, and as a graduating senior, I am excited to be looking toward the horizon. My biggest goal in life is to serve my country by joining the military. I’ve learned the value of dedication from my mom, Jessica Mychelle Vandeman, who has always been there to guide me.

I’m a big believer in staying level-headed, and for me, that happens on the lake. I live by the idea that 'the solution to any problem—work, love, money, whatever—is to go fishing.' I’m ready to tackle the challenges of the next two years and head straight into my military career with my head held high."
