Partners for Children & Families is working diligently to ensure every young child in Moore County has all they need for healthy growth and development, starting at birth. To achieve this vision, we strategically invest approximately $1.7 million annually into local programs and services that support families and children under five years old.

From the smiles and laughter to the books, activities, and time spent together, you helped make this celebration one to remember. This important training teaches participants how to prevent, recognize, and respond responsibly to child sexual abuse—because protecting children is a responsibility we all share.

🌟 Thank You, Wilson Family! 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to the Wilson Family for spending their United Way of Moore County Day of Caring with Partners for Children & Families!

Their volunteer efforts helped us inventory materials in our Play Mobile and photograph creative ideas for how early childhood educators can use these resources to inspire learning through play. Because of caring community partners like the Wilson Family, we're able to better support educators and create engaging opportunities for young children across Moore County.

Our Play Mobile brings hands-on, open-ended play experiences to children and families throughout the community, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, physical activity, and social-emotional development through exploration and play. This past year alone, 3,026 preschool children engaged in hands-on learning and play through 19 Play Mobile events, helping build the skills they need for healthy development and kindergarten success.

Thank you, Wilson Family & United Way of Moore County, for helping us strengthen this important resource and make learning through play possible for more children! 💙💚

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Meet the Amazing People Behind Partners for Children & Families! 🌟

To wrap up our Staff Spotlight series, we're introducing Danielle Rose, our Program Manager! Danielle will celebrate four years with Partners for Children & Families this October.

She began as our Development Specialist, focusing on fundraising, grant writing, and community engagement, before transitioning into her current role as Program Manager, overseeing programs and initiatives that support Moore County families.

💙 One of her proudest accomplishments:
Bringing the Family Resource Center and Essentials Care Pantry to Moore County. Danielle wrote the grant that made this vision possible and had the incredible opportunity to watch that vision become reality—creating a resource where families can access diapers, wipes, and other essential items.

💙 What she enjoys most about her work:
"I love helping people. Whether it's encouraging a coworker, connecting someone with resources, or finding creative ways to strengthen our programs, knowing that my work can make someone's day a little easier or brighter is what motivates me. I also love building relationships in our community and working alongside an incredible team."

🌟 Fun Fact:
Outside of work, Danielle serves as the President of her daughters' PTO and enjoys woodworking and DIY projects.

📚 Why Early Childhood Education Matters:
"Investing in early childhood education means investing in stronger communities. I'm grateful to help ensure children and families in Moore County have the support and resources they need to succeed."

As Danielle prepares to begin a new chapter this December at the Hoke County Partnership for Children and Families, she is incredibly grateful for the opportunities, relationships, and personal and professional growth she's experienced during her time at Partners for Children & Families. She looks forward to her next step while carrying the lessons and memories from this chapter with her.
