School Supply Pick Up is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12th, 1:30-3:30pm, at the Bright Futures office, 800 Grant St. This is for anyone who did not get their backpack picked up, or for those that were not on the list Sunday. See you Wednesday afternoon!

Don't forget! Backpacks with school supplies are to be picked up tomorrow, Sunday August 9th, from 5-6:30pm at TheBridge A Christian Church, 800 Main St, Carthage. We are excited to see you and can't wait for a great 2026-27 School Year!!

*If you are unable to attend on Sunday, you may pick your backpacks up Tuesday, August 11th or Wednesday, August 12th, from 1:30-3:30 at the Bright Futures office at 800 Grant St.

Thank you to everyone who donated school supplies or monetary donations to help us get ready for our Back Pack Giveaway. We have over 540 students registered to receive backpacks on Sunday. Thank you to the Internal Audit Group at Leggett & Platt, CWEP, Pennington Wines, G3 Entertainment and Community National Bank for hosting supply drives or collecting supplies for us, too! Many hands make light work, and Carthage....you make our job a breeze!

The school year is almost here, and we're excited to welcome Tiger families to the All Aboard Back-to-School Bash on Tuesday, August 4, from 4:00–6:00 PM at the CHS Commons & Main Gym!

🤝 Explore a vendor fair featuring Carthage community resources.
🐯 Meet your principal and school administrators.

📢 New to Carthage R-9? New enrollments must visit the Welcome Center before attending this event.

Whether you're starting kindergarten, new to the district, or returning for another great year, this event is the perfect way to connect, learn, prepare, and succeed!

Come to the All Aboard event! We will be taking school supply/backpack sign ups. Supplies are given to any student in the district who needs them. There are no questions, requirements or restrictions! We want all of our students to be prepared without adding a financial burden to the home!🧡💙🧡

It's not too late to help out with donations or school supplies for our Back to School backpack giveaway! We will be back at the Carthage Farmers Market on Wednesday and Saturday this week. Last year we gave away over 475 backpacks, so we can definitely use all the community support we can get! Thank you for making an impact in our kids education!

We are 1 week away from the All Aboard Back to School Bash!

We would love for you to join us Tuesday, August 4th, 4-6pm, at the CHS gymnasium.

We will be signing up kiddos for backpacks of school supplies, handing out cool Carthage Tiger t-shirts to the first 300 kids, and have lots of vendors to share resource options, or fun things to do outside of school hours!

With Back to School right around the corner 🎒📚, we’re collecting school supplies and donations for our backpack distribution event. Last year, Bright Futures provided over 475 backpacks to Carthage students—that’s a lot of pencils ✏️, crayons 🖍️, and Kleenex!
