Parents As Teachers - Carthage R9 Helping Parents prenatal-pre0kindergarten entry become their childs first and best teacher

PAT sevices families through personal visits that give parents age appropriate developmental information, yearly screenings that assure children or on track developmentally, group events, and a huge resource and referral network. We refer children to services such as our District wide preschool, speech therapy, early childhood special education, full and head start, Missouri First Steps just to name a few.

Look at these two curly-haired cuties!

These sweet sisters were all smiles for their first Parents as Teachers appointment of the year! They were so excited to show Ms. Kamie just how much they learned over the summer—and they did an amazing job!

We also completed part of our developmental screening process with a hearing and vision check. This little curly top passed her hearing screening with flying colors!

We love watching our PAT kiddos grow, learn, and show off all they know! What a wonderful way to start a new year of learning together! 🥰

Tiger Cub Care Open House 🐯❤️

Our Tiger Cub Care had their open house! Safe to say, big sis enjoyed showing little sis around the classroom where she’ll spend her year. 🥰 We know it’s going to be a great year for her!

We are incredibly blessed to work in a school district that offers child care for our staff members. Our Tiger Cub Care teachers are absolutely amazing with our kids, and we are so grateful for the love and care they provide each day! ❤️
