SOMETIMES you work really hard to complete your ALEKS math topics, and SOMETIMES your teacher rewards you with your own pie, and SOMETIMES your teacher lets you do whatever you want with said pie, and SOMETIMES that includes throwing it in your teacher's face, and SOMETIMES you take him up on that offer, and SOMETIMES your teacher doesn't like you anymore.

Just kidding! So proud of these two for their hard work and persistence. Now someone get me a towel.

Our class and the other fourth grade students were so helpful this morning! We are thankful for a chance to serve the school that has given so much to us, learn about the value of hard work, and make a lasting impact to look back upon.

in addition to being SO grateful to our awesome parents, PTO and school district for their support in securing this much-needed shade shelter, and to the Carthage High School's Tech Center Carpentry Students for their hard work and craftsmanship, we are also grateful to our 4th grade students for their help in laying sod around the structure today. We could have done it without them, but are hopeful they will remember this effort and, hopefully, be able to look upon the shelter and recall having contributed when they, one day, return to this school with their children and grandchildren

The LAST DAY OF SCHOOL is coming up! Tuesday, May 17th will be our last day of fourth grade. We will be doing classroom activities in the morning, starting our school assembly at 9:45. We will recognize character/star students from each class as well as A and A/B honor roll students. At the conclusion of the assembly, around 10:45, the fourth graders will take their annual "graduation walk" around the school, which parents are welcome to attend.
