🏃‍♀️🏛️ Today was a dash to the finish with our early out, and 2nd grade wrapped up their CKLA Ancient Greece unit in true Olympic fashion!

This week, students put their learning into action with their own Olympic events, including the javelin, discus, marathon, and relay race. 🥇

We hope everyone has a wonderful Maple Leaf weekend, and we can’t wait for more learning and fun on Monday! 🍁💙

🐯 Every school day is an opportunity. An opportunity to learn something new. To ask a question. To connect with a teacher. To laugh with a friend. To discover a talent.

Missing just two days of school each month can add up to about 20 days over a school year.

We know illnesses and unexpected circumstances happen. We're not asking for perfect attendance. We're asking families to partner with us in making every school day count whenever possible.

🎉🏆 We have our FIRST TWO classes to earn 10 Perfect Attendance Badges! 🏆🎉

Ms. Roach’s class celebrated their accomplishment with a Stuffed Animal Day, while Mrs. Harris’s class celebrated with a Pajama Day! 🧸💤

Each day that every student in a class is at school, arrives on time, and stays all day, that class earns a ⭐ Perfect Attendance Badge!

As a reminder, students are dismissed to their classrooms at 7:50 a.m., with learning beginning promptly at 8:00 a.m. Our final dismissal bell rings at 3:07 p.m. Being here from start to finish helps students make the most of every minute of their school day! 💙📚

Once a class collects 10 badges, students get to celebrate their teamwork by voting on a class reward! 🎈🥳

👏 Congratulations to our first two classes to reach this milestone! We are so proud of our students and families for making attendance a priority and helping their classes work toward this goal. 💙🐯

Every day counts. Every minute matters. And those badges add up! ⭐

🐯📝 Top-Notch Testing Tigers! 📝🐯

Our Tigers have been working SO hard on their beginning-of-the-year i-Ready testing, and we are so proud of their effort, focus, and determination! 💪📚⭐

To celebrate their hard work, our Top-Notch Testing Tigers got to spin the wheel 🎡 for some special rewards—including the very important job of dressing Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Chadd for the day! 😂👗🕶️

We are so proud of you, Tigers! Keep showing us what happens when you work hard, try your best, and never give up! 🐯💛🖤

Well done, Tigers! 🎉📖🏆
