Sometimes, when the weather is just too beautiful to stay inside, you have to take the classroom outdoors!
Mrs. Shayna and Ms. Emyiah took advantage of the gorgeous fall weather and brought learning outside for their kiddos to enjoy! With fresh air, sunshine, and a change of scenery, our little learners were able to explore and enjoy their lessons in a whole new way.

At Peppermint Fence, we believe some of the best learning experiences happen beyond the classroom walls. Who says learning has to happen at a desk?

What better way to start our week than with some hands-on learning and a little Monday fun!

Our big kids put their curiosity to the test and discovered that pumpkins float! Meanwhile, our littles enjoyed getting their hands a little messy with some fun sensory activities before lunchtime.

We love watching our kiddos explore, discover, and learn through play. Sometimes the best learning experiences are the messiest ones!

This Saturday, our team had the opportunity to come together with fellow childcare professionals from across our area for a day of professional development and hands-on learning.

We spent time reviewing important information, strengthening our knowledge, and exploring new ideas to enhance our classrooms. Of course, we also had the chance to roll up our sleeves and get a little messy while participating in some fun, creative activities!

We are excited to bring these fresh ideas and experiences back to our classrooms in the coming weeks. At Peppermint Fence, we believe that learning never stops, even for our teachers! Continuing to grow as educators allows us to provide the very best learning experiences for the children in our care.

Shout out to Professional Learning Solutions for the knowledge and Dr. Alyse Tibbs with Carthage Eye Associates for the lunch! We appreciate you pouring into our teachers.

🌈🎨 Our Color Days are getting a little CRAZY! 🤪💕

Our kiddos are having SO much fun learning their colors! Not only are we enjoying our yummy color-themed snacks, but now we’re adding colorful hair and silly painted faces to the fun!

There’s never a dull moment with these sweet babies! We love seeing their little personalities shine while they learn, laugh, and make memories!

And don’t worry, parents… It’s all washable! 🤣❤️🌈

🚒🔥 What an exciting day at Peppermint Fence! 🔥🚒

Our kiddos had the BEST time today when Mr. Rusty brought the fire truck for a special visit! ❤️🚒

We got to climb inside, explore the truck up close, and check out all the cool tools and equipment firefighters use to keep us safe! There were lots of smiles, excitement, and curious little minds learning something new!

A BIG thank you to Mr. Rusty for making today so special for our little learners! ❤️👩‍🚒👨‍🚒

Learning is always more fun when we get to experience it firsthand! 🚒💕

Another GREAT year at Potlatch!

We absolutely loved seeing all the smiling faces, happy families, and kiddos running around having fun!

A HUGE THANK YOU to EVERYONE who helped make this year possible! Whether you donated, volunteered, helped behind the scenes, stopped by to support us, or simply shared in the fun—we appreciate you more than you know!

It takes so many wonderful people to make a day like this happen, and we are incredibly thankful for each and every one of you.

We can’t wait to do it all again and see everyone next year!
