Congratulations to ๐‘น๐’š๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ด๐’–๐’๐’ who become the lone Main Event titlist for the Evil Empire this weekend when he drove through with a double-leg to convert the takedown with :28 remaining in sudden victory en route to knocking #13 ranked/2026 PIAA State runner-up, ๐€๐ข๐๐ž๐ง ๐Š๐ฎ๐ง๐ž๐ฌ, 4-1, in the 152-pound JFC finale!!

His encore heroics capping off a 5-0 resume on Sunday for the 2026 NYSPHSAA DI State champ out of Carthage; he reached the title contest behind dubs in the quarter and semifinals over fellow NYers--- #29 ๐Œ๐š๐ญ๐ญ ๐Œ๐œ๐ƒ๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ญ (2x State runner-up, 2x NHSCA National Runner-up) #12 ranked/top-seeded ๐…๐ข๐ง๐ง ๐Ž'๐๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ง (Former 2x NYS Bronze Medalist; 2025 Fargo 16U FS National Runner-up)!!

Pandemonium at the Journeymen Fall Classic as state champion Ryan Munn (Carthage / Green Farms) knocks off Fargo finalist Finnegan Oโ€™Brien (Locust Valley / Blair Academy) to advance to the finals of the Journeymen Fall Classic!

Munn wins massive back-to-back matches over nationally ranked opponents as he won a state finals rematch over Matt McDermott in the quarters the match prior.

Congratulations to Carthage Comet turned GFA Dragon, ๐‘น๐’š๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ด๐’–๐’๐’, on reaching the 152-pound semifinals on the Union College campus moments ago!

Pitted in a rematch of the 2026 NYSPHSAA DI State main event; it was Munn getting his arm raised when he recorded the lone TD of the match in the final 1:00 of the 2nd period to come away with a 4-2 decision over Smithtown's ๐Œ๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐Œ๐œ๐ƒ๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ญ (2x State Silver; 2x NHSCA National runner-up)!

Earlier in the festivities, Munn also boasted a 17-2 TF 2026 Delaware State champ, ๐ƒ๐จ๐ฆ ๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐ง๐š๐ญ๐จ!
