IT’S SO GREAT TO SEE. ❤️🤼‍♂️⛳️

Yesterday’s tournament was a pretty special reminder that Carthage Wrestling is so much more than what happens on the mat.

Along with a couple of our current wrestlers, 29 former Carthage wrestlers came out to golf and support one of our biggest fundraisers of the year!

And what makes that number even cooler is the generations it represents. Some graduated as recently as this past June, while one of our golfers wrestled for Carthage back in the 1970s!

A few of these former wrestlers have even come full circle and are now giving back as P*e Wee coaches and coaches within our school program—helping the next generation of Comets learn and love the sport that meant so much to them.

That’s what makes this program special.

You may graduate. You may wrestle your last match. Life takes everyone in different directions…but that connection to Carthage Wrestling sticks with you.

To see so many former wrestlers come back, spend the day together, reconnect, have some fun and support the program they were once a part of means more than they probably realize.
