For the past 11 months, my family has supported my candidacy. It often required sacrifices on their part as I missed family events and found my time pulled away from our home. Yet, they encouraged me to stay the course.
Although all three of my kids have graduated from high school, my niece and nephew are still part of Moore County Schools so I am deeply invested in ensuring that they have the same opportunities my children enjoyed.
I am grateful for the outpouring of community support I’ve received, especially from our MCS teachers, support staff, parents, and retired educators. You’ve made everyday worthwhile.
