The Bookmobile is turning the page—and looking for its next Coordinator!

As our wonderful Bookmobile Coordinator moves on to her next chapter, we’re looking for someone new to take the wheel and carry this important work forward.

At the heart of the Bookmobile is a simple but powerful idea: every child and family deserves access to books, stories, and opportunities to learn.

Early exposure to language and literature helps build the foundation for so much more than learning to read. It supports early brain development, strengthens vocabulary and communication, encourages curiosity and imagination, and helps children develop the cognitive skills they’ll carry with them into school and beyond.

The Bookmobile helps bring those opportunities directly to families—removing barriers to access and putting books and resources into the hands of children throughout our community.

We’re looking for a coordinator who believes in that mission and is excited to take it on the road.

Big news for the Future Centers! 🎉

When we launched the Future Centers, our goal was simple: ensure every student has someone in their corner as they navigate life after high school.

Today, we're excited to share another milestone.

The Etowah Foundation Future Centers are now recognized as a Community-Based Organization within the Common App, allowing our advisors to support students directly through one of the nation's most widely used college application platforms.

While this may seem like a small update, it represents something much bigger.

It means students have another trusted advocate walking alongside them as they apply for college, pursue scholarships, and take the next step toward their future.

This is one more way we're breaking down barriers and making post-secondary success more accessible for every student we serve.

The Future Centers continue to grow, and so does our commitment to helping students discover what's possible.

Because every student deserves a pathway to success.

What makes Bartow County special? For Zach Pritchard, it’s simple: the people.

This is a community that shows up for one another. We celebrate each other’s successes, lend a hand when it’s needed, and believe that investing in our neighbors creates a stronger future for everyone.

That same belief is at the heart of the Etowah Foundation. Every scholarship awarded, every student served through our Future Centers, and every child reached by the Bookmobile is possible because this community chooses to invest in its own.

The Pritchard Community Challenge is a reflection of that spirit. Rather than simply making a gift, Zach and Alexis are inviting our entire community to join them. By matching every donation up to $5,000 each month through the end of the year, they’re demonstrating that when generosity inspires generosity, the impact extends far beyond any one donor.

As Madison begins her second year serving as the Etowah Foundation's Future Center Advisor at Cartersville High School, we're reminded of the incredible impact that comes from investing in those who choose to give back.

A proud Cartersville High School graduate, Madison has built an impressive path—from earning degrees at Hampton University and Georgia State University, to gaining experience with the Los Angeles Dodgers, to beginning law school this fall. Yet through it all, she has remained committed to helping the next generation of Hurricanes discover their own path to success.

Every day, Madison works alongside students as they explore college, career, military, and workforce opportunities, helping them build confidence and create plans for life after graduation.

We are incredibly grateful for Madison's dedication, leadership, and heart for serving the students of Cartersville High School. Thank you for all you do to help our Hurricanes dream bigger, plan boldly, and achieve their goals.

Madison McKinney graduated from Cartersville High School in 2017 and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Hampton University and a master of science in Sport Administration from Georgia State University. This fall she'll be busy because she's starting law school at Georgia State University and working in the Etowah Foundation Future Center as an advisor at Cartersville High School. Prior to joining the Etowah Foundation team, she worked with the 2024 World Series Champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

One of the things we admire most about Pritchard Injury Firm is their commitment to our community is that they aren’t simply making a gift, they’re inviting others to join them in making a difference.
