Trick or treat... yourself to a cleaner closet!

Don't let old clothes haunt your closet this Halloween. Clothes your family has outgrown, shoes that don't fit anymore, and costumes from last year can all go in the Cloverleaf Clothes Bin, and every bag helps support our school.

• Put clothes and shoes in a bag
• Tie the bag closed
• Drop it in the green Clothes Bin at CLES in the front parking lot.
It's free, easy, and keeps textiles out of Georgia landfills. Thank you for treating our school!

Cloverleaf 3rd graders are diving deep into the world of ocean exploration!

As part of an Arts & Letters lesson, students are exploring the contributions of oceanographer Marie Tharp while answering the content framing question: How do people explore the sea?

Throughout the module, students have engaged with a variety of texts, including a biography of Jacques Cousteau, the fictional picture book Amos and Boris, the informational texts Giant Squid and Shark Attack, and the poem The Sea Wind. Using evidence and ideas from these texts, students will craft three different graded written responses, each following the Painted Essay organizational structure.

We are incredibly proud of our 3rd graders and the deep thinking, meaningful learning, and growing writing skills they are demonstrating every day!
