📣 BACK TO SCHOOL PEP RALLY! 📣

We kicked off the school year with BIG energy, even BIGGER house spirit, and a whole lot of school pride! Our students showed up ready to represent their houses—Amistad, Isibindi, Rêveur, and Altruismo—and made it clear that the house spirit at Cass Middle is stronger than ever!

From cheering and chanting to showing off their house colors and celebrating together, our students brought the energy and reminded us what it means to be part of the Cass family. 💙💛

📣 Attention Cass Middle School Families!

As your students begin thinking about their future, Bartow County Schools invites families to attend SPIN: Student & Parent Information Night on August 27, 2026.

Students and parents will have the opportunity to connect with college admissions representatives, learn about financial aid opportunities, explore career pathways, and meet military representatives. Participating colleges include Kennesaw State, Georgia State, Berry College, and the University of West Georgia.

🍦 Sweet Treat Alert! 🍦

Jandy's Ice Cream will be on campus during lunch this Wednesday! Students will have the opportunity to purchase a delicious frozen treat and enjoy a little midweek sweetness.

Be sure to bring money ($5 or $6) if you'd like to participate. We can't wait to see everyone enjoying Jandy's Ice Cream!

As we are preparing to push out our new communication platform, please go ahead and download the DOJO app. You will not have to pay for the app just use the free version of the app when it is downloaded. We will be sending out more information in order to get you connected with your child's teachers and school very soon. Thank you for your patience as we get this year off to a great start!

Today was a BIG day for our sixth graders! They were officially sorted into their RCA houses, and we are so excited to welcome them into our Cass Middle School house family!

Parents, be sure to ask your sixth grader: “Which house picked you?” 👀

Here’s a quick look at our four RCA houses:

🫶 Amistad – Friendship, loyalty, and building strong relationships with others.

🐍 Altruismo – Selflessness, kindness, and putting others before yourself.

🌙 Rêveur – Dreaming big, creativity, imagination, and believing in what’s possible.

🤟🏽 Isibindi – Courage, bravery, and having the strength to do what is right.

Our sixth graders won’t have to wait long to experience the full house spirit! Next Friday, they’ll be welcomed by their seventh and eighth grade house members for our first House Celebration of the 2026 - 2027 school year!
