Please join us in cheering on Shyla Pruitt, Annabelle Card, and Sophie Boyers as they travel to Warner Robins today to compete at the GHSA Literary Competition in the Girls Trio event!

These talented Wildcats have worked incredibly hard to earn their spot at the state competition, and we are so proud of the dedication and talent they are representing on behalf of Woodland.

MORE WILDCATS ON THE STATE STAGE

A huge congratulations goes out to two of our fantastic theatre students!

First, Gabby Hudson was selected to compete at the state level for a coveted place to perform her self-choreographed solo at the Thescon "Thespys" performance. The "Thespys" are a performance at the Thescon Convention where she will dance in front of over 1,000 theatre students from all over the state of Georgia!

Next, Elyse Tindall was selected as an All-State Theatre Member this year, competing against over 600 applicants from all across the state. She will also be performing at the Thescon Convention held this weekend in both the opening and closing ceremonies.

Both of these ladies have represented us well, earning the theatre version of state titles! Congratulations and break legs this weekend!

As we get closer and closer to Advanced Acting Auditions in March we wanted to share some in-action shots of what it is like to take the class! ⭐️This week, students worked with “open scenes” where they had to create context that worked with their given scenes. As we are working on our devising theatre unit, students are growing their ability to create characters and scenes using nothing but their own ideas
