A child’s success in school is dependent upon the parent’s participation in the learning process. Many educators would agree that parental involvement is not only important in the early years, but it is crucial during any age of child’s educational experience. A brilliant second grader understands the learning process! This picture describes how she sees her mom and I working together to ensure her success in school.

I have always admired the following quote: “If I could see the world through the eyes of a child.”

Hi! My name is Ms. Ewing. I am the Program Director of the Evergreen Learn at home program. 😊 One thing I always say is learning can happen anywhere. At home, in the park, and even at the beach!

Today, I am teaching the nursery rhyme "Itsy Bitsy Spider" while vacationing at the beach, and you can do it too!
