Our Carteret seniors came together to create a beautiful collaborative art piece honoring the nation's 250th birthday, while each artist also designed their own unique stained glass hummingbird. Every piece reflects individuality, hope, and the joy of creating together.

Our senior artists transformed simple sea creatures and butterflies into sparkling works of art using pearls, gems, and plenty of imagination. Every bead added a touch of personality, proving that creativity continues to bloom throughout every stage of life.
These beautiful creations are a reminder that art brings joy, connection, and endless opportunities to shine.

🎨Art can say what words sometimes can't.🎨
Within these 10 weeks artists created a safe, supportive space where adolescents explored emotions through creativity. Using art activities, participants transformed feelings into meaningful artwork while building confidence, strengthening their voice, and discovering healthy ways to cope.
Together, they left with more than a finished piece-they gained self-awareness, connection, resilience, and a visual reminder that their story matters.
Every brushstroke is a step toward healing, self-expression, and hope.

The Carteret children’s library was filled with fun, laughter, and learning today. Dibble and Dabble storytime participants had a groovy time as they read the book entitled “Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes” by Eric Litwin and James Dean. Carteret young learners explored colors from a variety of perspectives. They painted creative ceramic tiles and sneaker keychains. Participants also made a Pete the Cat sequence-of-events craft to use as they retell the story to family and friends. Cause-and-effect scenarios were presented, and participants learned valuable lessons on being resilient. The moral of this amazing story was, “No matter what happens or what you 'step in,' you should keep moving forward and singing your song because, in the end, it's all good.” This session was filled with engaging rhymes, songs, creative crafting, and they finished up with an interactive parachute game using directional vocabulary words.

🎉🎨What a fun day at Celebrate Middlesex!🎨🎉
Over 200 participants of all ages took on the challenge of creating a “slow selfies” for the Middlesex County/ Bangalore Art Exchange!
From first-time artists to seasoned creatives, everyone embraced the experience, stepped outside their comfort zone, and created something uniquely their own.
These portraits will travel beyond our community, helping build connections with participants not only in India, Ecuador, and Massachusetts but much further sharing the language of art.
Lots of smiles, creativity, and new friendships were made—and this is only the beginning! 🌎💙🎨
