Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a booth at 186th Street Elementary's STEAM Festival. It was a great opportunity to connect with families from our partner school and share the excitement of computer science through Bee-Bot and Dash robot challenges.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was seeing students show their parents how the robots work and guide them through the challenges. It was fun to watch students take the lead and share what they had learned.

We appreciate our partnership with 186th Street School and had a wonderful time spreading the joy of STEAM with the community.

This past weekend, the Snap Inc. Institute for Technology & Education–an institute that's housed under our college–partnered with STEM From Dance to host a Pop Up experience at California State University, Dominguez Hills for 30 girls in grades 3–8. Students explored AI concepts, participated in hands-on STEM activities, learned choreography, and connected with a community of young innovators and creators.

The day concluded with a mini performance for families, highlighting the students’ creativity, collaboration, and hard work.

We appreciate our partnership with STEM From Dance and the opportunities they continue to provide for girls and families in our local community.
