Leaders from across Los Angeles County gathered at Barton Elementary School in Long Beach for the Future of Digital Opportunity Summit. The event brought together educators, tech advocates, government reps, and community organizations to talk about closing the digital divide and building stronger, more connected communities. Hosted by groups like and the summit focused on creating real impact through collaboration, innovation, and sustainable funding. Attendees shared ideas, success stories, and strategies for making digital tools and internet access more available to everyone, especially in underserved areas. CSUDH is providing laptops, MiFi devices, career-focused digital training to underserved communities, and funds paid internships for CSUDH students, allowing them to gain hands-on experience while supporting digital inclusion efforts.
