Ready or not, here comes the first day of school! We are excited to welcome grades 1-5 on Tuesday, August 18 and Pre-K and Kinder students on Thursday, August 20!

-On the first day of school, parents may walk their students through the gates to their classroom doors. If you need help finding where to go, please look for a staff member rather than going into the office.

-Every family is encouraged to be familiar with the District Nutrition Services webpage. Head to the Carson City School District website to check out the Nutrition Services page.

- Your student's attendance is very important, and both absences and tardies will be counted from the first day of school. Teachers truly appreciate your efforts in making sure your child is on time (8:25!) for school every day!

-Back to School Night will be Thursday, Aug. 20 from 4:30-6:00 pm. It's "open house" style, so gather the family and drop in when you can!

Seeliger is looking to expand our Noon Duty Crew for the upcoming school year! Work with a great team and fantastic students from approximately 11:00 am-1:00 pm every school day. Not only will you earn some fun money, but positions like this are a great way to get your foot in the door for future opportunities with the school district. If you're interested, please go to www.carsoncityschools.com , click on "Join Our Team" along the top bar, then click on "Apply Now", and scroll through the positions until you see "Noon Duties". Feel free to pass along this information to anyone who might be interested; thank you!
