Our community showed up in a big way! Thanks to the amazing clothing donations from parents, friends, community members, and the Carson City Nevada Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we collected over 300 bags and filled the band trailer, well ahead of our goal of 250!

You can still drop off remaining donations through Thursday - just send us a message and we'll arrange a time. Thank you, Carson City!

Washoe County Band Festival was today, and the Honors Wind Ensemble had one of their best performances ever. They earned superior ratings from all the judges, including sight reading. One of the judges, Shelley Smithwick, was the band director at Carson High School in thr 1980s. She was so proud of the kids for carrying on the legacy.

Congratulations to our Winter Drumline and Winter Guard on a season that was all-time. Drumline captured 1st place in the PRSA division with a score of 80.55. Winter Guard earned 2nd place in the SRA division with a score of 81.14.
