Brand new for concert band: Endeavour March will be a great opener (or closer!) on your next concert, contest or festival. Written in Eb concert and 4/4 time, it features a bold first statement of the theme by the 1st trumpets. A beautiful, brief B theme will show off your woodwind section. Before returning the main theme, the percussion get to shine on an interlude that will spotlight your timpanist. Finally, Endevour March concludes with an exciting finish!

We love MS Band here at MRNS Industries! So much so that we wrote from scratch our own beginner book containing all the music that you need to read in the first year... and beyond! If you already are familiar with Playlists For Band and Musical Mastery, please spread the word at TBA this week. Different approach, many new songs, and WAY cheaper. $500. For the first year and beyond. There are songs and features that could be used in the 7th and 8th grades.
The approach to rhythm is very sequential and in depth.
Interval recognition is a big part of PFB.
When key signatures are introduced PFB makes liberal use of courtesy accidentals.
PFB is flexible. You can start with Playlists One, Two, three or even Four.
20 Duets for all instruments.
There are three full band arrangements of the blues tunes in the book and another band arrangement of “The Count of Truro.” Included also are two solos with piano accompaniment. Both are easy enough to do as a class solo at the end of the year. One is the solo version of ‘The Count of Truro” so that you could even feature a soloist or a section with the band!
Bonus playlists to teach dynamics, style and tempo. Plus, a “Marking Your Music” page.
Rhythm Rocker pages are referenced throughout PFB.
The fi*****ng chart is courtesy of Musical Mastery! Fingerings are not placed throughout PFB in order to train the students to use the fi*****ng chart.
The clarinet book has extra lower note pages so that your classes that cross the break later in life and continue moving forward.
There are “oboe class pages” for the first 14 pages that start off in the key of F.
The bassoon book mirrors the oboe class pages so that they can be reading and saying the same note names.
The horns have three separate books! Trumpet range, low full band and high full band. Feel free to ask me why, because there is not enough room here!
The mallet book is a separate book and changes octaves back and forth about halfway through to work on reading the full range of the mallet instruments.
Accompaniments for every line and MakeMusic Cloud are also a part of Playlists for Band!
