💙 Meet our beloved Periquito azul! He is more than our school mascot 🫶🏻he is part of the Spanish Schoolhouse Castle Hills family! Our students love learning, singing, and exploring with him throughout the year.

One of our favorite traditions is giving each child the opportunity to take our plush Periquito azul home for an entire week! He gets to join family dinners, bedtime stories, outings, and everyday adventures. When he returns to school, our little learners can share all about their special week together in the periquito azul notebook, while practicing confidence, communication, responsibility, and Spanish! 🏡📚✨

🤓Fun fact: Periquito azul is inspired by the hyacinth macaw, the largest flying parrot species in the world🌎🩵Just like our students, this beautiful blue bird is curious, social, and always ready to explore, learn, and grow! 🌿

🌎There is so much for children to discover when they learn about the people, traditions, languages, and experiences that make our world unique.
At Spanish Schoolhouse, celebrating cultural diversity is part of creating an environment where children learn to be curious about the world and confident in their place within it. Through meaningful experiences, children begin developing an appreciation for differences while discovering the connections we share.
Because early learning is about more than what children know. It’s also about how they learn to see the world.

💙✨ Meet the wonderful women behind our office! ✨💙

They’re the smiles that welcome you, the helping hands that keep our days running smoothly, and—most importantly—three moms who understand exactly how much trust it takes to leave your little one in someone else’s care. 🥹❤️

🇲🇽 Miss Fátima, our Assistant Director, is from Mexico and has been part of our Spanish Schoolhouse family for 5 amazing years! With experience in early childhood education, she has grown right alongside our school and brings so much creativity, love, and joy to everything she does. She is a proud mama of two, and both of her little ones currently attend Spanish Schoolhouse Castle Hills! 🩵

🇲🇽 Miss Ale, our Office Manager, is also from Mexico and is the bright smile that gets our school started each morning! ☀️ She opens our doors at 7:00 a.m., ready to welcome our earliest little birds and their families. Her warmth, organization, and caring heart help make our school feel like home from the very beginning of the day.

🇻🇪 And Miss Corina, from Venezuela, joins our Extended PM Program after 2:00 p.m., bringing fresh energy and lots of love to our afternoons! 💕 She is also a Spanish Schoolhouse mama, with her own little girl attending our school.

Three moms. Three beautiful cultures and stories. One amazing team. 🌎❤️ They know that behind every backpack is someone’s whole world and it is a privilege they never take for granted.

We can’t wait for you to get to know and love them as much as we do. ¡Bienvenidos a nuestra familia! 💙🦜✨

Miss Brenda’s Spanish Schoolhouse journey began 7 years ago in the classroom as a teacher, and today she proudly serves as the Second Director of our Castle Hills campus! ✨

She is also a proud mom of three, with two Spanish Schoolhouse Castle Hills graduates of her own so she truly understands our school from both a teacher’s and a parent’s heart. 🥹❤️

Her greatest joy is creating a loving, welcoming place where every child feels special, celebrated, safe, and excited to learn, while building meaningful connections with our wonderful families.

7 years of growing, learning, leading, and loving what she does—and we are so lucky to have her! 💙☀️

¡Te queremos, Miss Brenda! 🥰

💙 Meet the heart behind Spanish Schoolhouse Castle Hills: Gaby Mamá & Gabita — mother and daughter. 🇲🇽✨

Both born in Mexico City, both educators at heart, they opened the doors of Spanish Schoolhouse Castle Hills in 2008 with a dream: to create a place where children could fall in love with the Spanish language and the beautiful cultures behind it.

What began as a school became part of their family’s story. Gabita, a Texas Woman’s University graduate and now a mother of three, has watched one of her daughters graduate from Spanish Schoolhouse, while her two little ones now walk the same halls she has poured her heart into for so many years. 🥹

Through these doors have come hundreds of little faces, little voices, and little lives and every one of them has left a piece of their story with us. ❤️

After all these years, we are still here. Still growing. Still believing. Still grateful. Sharing our language, celebrating cultures from across the Spanish-speaking world, and watching generation after generation discover the incredible gift of Spanish immersion.

This has never been just a school to us. It is our family, our legacy, and one of the greatest privileges of our lives. 💙

Con todo nuestro corazón, gracias por trusting us with your greatest treasures. ❤️

✂️🖐️ Little hands are hard at work! 💙🦜

At Spanish Schoolhouse, we love turning learning into FUN! Today we’re strengthening those little hand muscles and developing important fine motor skills while getting creative with simple paper materials. 🎨✨

Every tear, pinch, fold, and creation helps prepare little hands for writing, cutting, drawing, and so much more—all while having a blast! 💪🖍️

💙🦜 We LOVE when our alumni come back to visit!

This sweet alum was part of our Spanish Schoolhouse family from 2009–2011, and seeing him again filled our hearts. 🥹💙 We especially love knowing that after all these years, he still carries so much love for Periquito Azul and such happy, loving memories from her time with us.

Once part of our Spanish Schoolhouse family, always part of our family. 💙✨ ¡Siempre serás parte de nuestro nido!

✨ Learning Spanish is so much more fun when you’re having a blast! 🎤💃

In our Prekindergarten Argentina classroom, Miss Luz has a special way of turning every lesson into an experience! From microphones and music 🎶 to dancing, games, movement, and lots of laughter, she keeps our little learners excited, engaged, and eager to participate. ❤️

That’s the beauty of Spanish immersion—children are learning naturally through play, connection, creativity, and FUN! 🌎💛

¡Así aprendemos en Argentina! 🎤✨
