🇺🇸 A Historic Day for Carrollton! 🇺🇸
Today, the Carrollton community celebrated an exciting milestone with the grand opening of the new Whataburger, and our Carrollton High School Air Force JROTC cadets were honored to be part of the occasion.
Our elite AFJROTC Color Guard proudly presented the American and state flags with precision, professionalism, and pride. The Color Guard members (left to right) were Cadets Christian Vasquez, Isaac Hudson, Landon Peace, and Luke Tanner.
A special highlight of the ceremony was the first-ever raising of the American flag on the restaurant’s new flagpole. The Flag Detail, consisting of Cadets Libbie Cline and Kimberly Diaz, carefully unfolded and hoisted Old Glory into the sky, officially dedicating this new community landmark.
This event showcased the values that define our program—service, excellence, leadership, and respect for our nation’s symbols. We are incredibly proud of these cadets for representing Carrollton High School and our AFJROTC unit with honor and distinction.
Thank you to the Whataburger team for entrusting our cadets with this memorable responsibility, and thank you to our community for continuing to support the next generation of leaders.

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes 🇺🇸
On May 23rd, cadets from Carrollton High School Air Force JROTC proudly served as the Honor Guard and Ambassadors during the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Carroll County Veterans Memorial Park.
The Color Guard was represented by Cadets Isaac Hudson, Landon Peace, Noa Rho, and Luke Tanner. These cadets demonstrated exceptional professionalism and respect while presenting the colors.
AFJROTC Ambassadors Libbie Cline and Kylee Merrell had the honor of laying a wreath at the base of the pole flying the American flag in remembrance of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.
We are proud of these cadets for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to honoring our veterans and fallen service members.
