1st Kids Children's Ministry

Over 2,000 eggs gone in less than 10 minutes today! Thank you to the parents and volunteers who made the egg hunt great! Who’s in favor of doing it on Easter Sunday every year??

Our kids’ Christmas performance was tonight! Thanks for all who came to cheer them on and eat cookies after. ♥️🎉🎄🍪

This past Saturday, some of our volunteers took a CPR course with Mike Davis, a local expert and retired EMS worker. In the class we learned the proper CPR for adults, children and infants, and even how to use the AED machines we have in our church building! Thank you, Rosie for teaching the class, and thank you to these ladies for investing in the kids we get to love on each week. ❤️🩻🩹

VBS 2022 Volunteers

The Egg Hunt was a success! Thanks to all who came out and participated and the AWESOME crew of volunteers who made this so easy!!

This week’s volunteer shout-out is also a plug for one of our outreach ministries!

Last year at VBS, we started running this very van to a government housing area in the city of Carrollton. By the end of the week we were running 3 loads each night full of kids aged 3-13 years old. Fast forward to this year, and we are still taking that same van each Sunday morning to pick up kids and bring them to hear God’s word and have a good meal each week. Here are two of our volunteers in this multi-faceted system: Steve Jochum and Ali Hembree! Steve and Ali are two adults who drive and ensure the safety of the kids we get each week. Sometimes they even get two loads!! Let’s thank Steve and Ali, and please join us in praying for this ministry.
