They didn't know it yet, but they were standing in the middle of a moment that would change their lives forever.

These photos with the cheesy props? They're more than just first-day pictures. They're time markers, capturing the moment you begin discovering who you'll become. Today, it's your first-day-of-college photo. Tomorrow, it's your graduation portrait, your internship announcement on LinkedIn, your entrepreneur feature, your first professional headshot, or your CEO portrait.

The friendships they hadn't made.
The professors they hadn't met.
The internships they didn't know were possible.
The businesses they hadn't built.
The lives they hadn't impacted.

Some moments don't feel significant until years later.

This was one of them.
Welcome to the Richards College of Business. Your future starts here. πŸ’ΌπŸΊ

What an incredible two days at the 2026 Stone Center Family Business Retreat!

This year's retreat brought together family business owners, entrepreneurs, and industry experts to explore "The Second Leap: Moving from Founder-Led Success to Multigenerational Growth." Through inspiring keynote sessions, interactive workshops, meaningful networking opportunities, and powerful conversations, attendees shared ideas, tackled real-world challenges, and gained valuable insights on leadership, innovation, succession planning, and building businesses that thrive for generations.

A huge thank you to our outstanding speakers, facilitators, sponsors, and attendees for making this year's retreat such a success. We loved seeing meaningful connections made, ideas exchanged, and family business leaders inspired to strengthen their businesses while preserving the legacies they've worked so hard to build. Here's to continued growth, collaboration, and leading with purpose. We can't wait to see you again next year!

Study Abroad London 2026 recap!

What an unforgettable week! Fourteen students and two faculty members explored the best of business, culture, and adventure across London.

From visiting the Bank of England, TheCityUK, London's Tech City, and the BMW MINI assembly plant to taking on a scavenger hunt at the British Museum, where students raced to find artifacts from cultures around the world, exploring Oxford University, and experiencing London's iconic sights, every day brought a new opportunity to learn and explore.

Of course, there was plenty of time for shopping, great food, and making memories with new friends along the way. 🌍✈️

Here's to a week of global learning, unforgettable experiences, and a trip we'll never forget. Until next time, London!

Global Connections in Honduras!

Dr. Erich Bergiel recently visited UNITEC in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, to explore opportunities for collaboration and strengthen international relationships between institutions.

The visit provided an opportunity to learn more about one of the region’s leading universities and discuss potential partnerships in student opportunities, study abroad programs, research, and faculty engagement.

🌎 Building connections. Expanding opportunities. Strengthening global perspectives.
